At FA Jones & Sons we have been a part of the community in Southend since 1912 and we always ensure that we are working with our local community and charities. Read below to find out how you can help.
The Shoebury Ark
Every day, people in the Shoebury area go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill when they are on a low income, health issues etc. At the start of 2022, we set up a charity is to support the local community through the relief of poverty by the provision of free meals, low cost/free groceries and household items and low cost children’s clothing. We also signpost people to other appropriate services when necessary, and work with other local partners to provide further tailored support on matters such as housing and energy costs.
